Calicoco combines traditional values with modern life….bringing you children’s activity kits that you can enjoy too. None of our kits need a needle or thread- yes, that’s NO SEWING and everything can be achieved in an hour or two- so nothing gets put back in the cupboard half finished. We have included everything you need to create something that really is lots of fun to make. The only extra that needs adding to one of our kits is a little imagination. We do provide helpful hints to get you started but the fun really starts when a little creative thought is added.

All of our kits, presented in natural calico bags are ideal for presents or as a special ‘rainy day’ treat. Once made up all of our kits can be turned into fantastic gifts themselves. Calico fabric makes a great base to write a lovely message to someone. I’m sure you can imagine that the Christmas Creations need only a date and name adding to bring pleasure for years to come and the Make-A-Face kits are great for teachers’ end of year gifts.

Christmas Creations, our seasonal offering, are a great way to make Christmas special, by creating a tree bauble, a little angel face or even a fairy for the top of the tree! Our Christmas creation range all come in natural calico stockings which could also be decorated too! The Christmas Fairy is based on a MiniMimi-to-go but has beautiful white wool, netting and ribbon, combined with coloured sparkly glitter sticks to complete her outfit to make her wings and halo.

‘Make An Angel Face’ is based on our Make A Face kits and is very simple to make. The simpler the face the better the look!

The baubles are perfect for younger children as, once again, there is no sewing, they simply stuff, tie the hanger and decorate- which in it’s simplest form could mean covering the bauble in glitter glue!!
